Originally from England, I started my career in the ‘real’ London in the mid 90’s, working on music projects such as Oasis (live), Wamdue Project and Suede promos, commercials for Pepsi, Santori Whiskey, Space Ibiza, and ‘yoof’ tv strands T4, 4Music and MTV, amongst others. This background led to me editing music documentaries about Pixies, Bert Jansch, Primal Scream and The Clash, which IN TURN started my love of making more longform films, and, for the last 20 some years, I have been BRINGING my skills TO documentarIES and docu-dramas for the UK, Canada, the US and beyond.
I particularly ENJOY finding and working the story of any project, and passionately believe that a solid narrative is the best START TO any great documentary, before I make it look and sound amazing. I always MINE for the humanity and soul in the story in order to make the most compelling, layered and entertaining film I can. Never short of ideas, I am very capable working alone OR alongside others, and am EQUALLY AS good A collaborator.
